About Life Talk

Life Talk Counselling offers couselling services for when you need to talk about life as well as providing professional supervision<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Kerrilee. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 15 years of experience. I have worked with children, adolescents, individuals and families providing counselling support as well as working with a bereavement organisation specialising in grief, loss and trauma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We all find life hard to manage and cope with at times. It can get confusing and difficult to navigate. I love to support clients through whatever challenges they are facing. I use a person-centred approach, which means that you are the expert in your story and it is my role to provide a supportive, positive, safe and caring response so that together we explore strategies and techniques tailored to your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love working within the ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) modality, encouraging people to explore difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than fighting, ignoring or feeling judgement from them. It uses strategies and practices to be present in the moment, to explore values and focus on meaningful living, with commited actions, even when life is hard.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
